Profile

Samuel Delgado Hernández was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Spain) in 1990. He completed his PhD in Chemistry at the University of La Laguna (ULL) in 2021 under the supervision of Dr. Fernando García Tellado and Dr. David Tejedor at the Department of Molecular Sciences of the Institute of Natural Products and Agrobiology (IPNA-CSIC), whose research focused on the discovery of new synthetic methodologies through domino processes. After completing his thesis, he was a beneficiary of a contract from the Juan de la Cierva Formation program at the University of Granada in the research group of Dr. Araceli G. Campaña (NanographOUT). Currently, he has a postdoctoral contract at IPNA-CSIC and his research focuses on the field of Supramolecular Chemistry in the group of Dr. Tomás Martín.

Research Interests

Supramolecular chemistry. Nanographenes out of planarity. New domino methodologies.
