Lía Cruces Delgado holds a degree in Pharmacy (2019) and a Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Secondary Education, Vocational Training, and Language Teaching (2025), both obtained from the University of La Laguna. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies in the Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Development and Quality of Life program at the same institution.
During the 2023/2024 academic year, she was a recipient of the Investigo Program, promoted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy, which aims to encourage the hiring of young researchers in public research institutions. She is currently working at the Institute of Natural Products and Agrobiology (IPNA-CSIC) as a Predoctoral FPI Fellow funded by the Government of the Canary Islands, where she is developing her doctoral thesis titled “Function-Oriented Synthesis as an Efficient Strategy for the Development of New Molecules with Potential Antitumor Activity".
