Technological offer

The following technologies are protected by patents or other types of industrial protection. The IPNA is open to the development of new commercial applications of these technologies through the granting of exploitation licences to companies, as well as the joint development of a technology with industrial partners or the creation of new technology-based companies.

This technological offering is therefore aimed not only at companies and investors, but also at entrepreneurs and technology centres interested in developing these technologies into new applications of potential interest to the market.

Vacuna para tratar y prevenir el cáncer de próstata

Vaccine to treat and prevent prostate cancer

The CSIC has developed an immunotherapy approach based on a bifunctional compound for the treatment and prevention of prostate cancer, the second most common cancer worldwide for men and fifth most common cancer overall. Industrial partners from the pharmaceutical industry are being sought, for collaboration through a patent licence agreement.

Adhesivo basaso en biopolímeros

Biopolymer-based adhesive for different types of surfaces

The CSIC has developed an eco-friendly adhesive with properties and characteristics unique in the industry. In addition to high mechanical and chemical resistance, its ease of application and low production cost make this an ideal adhesive for a wide range of surfaces. We are seeking companies interested in acquiring the patent licence, to undertake the development of new adhesive products.

Vitamin derivative for the control of the Huanglongbing psyllids vectors (HLB)

The Spanish Research Council (CSIC) has developed a compound for the biostimulation of the natural defense mechanisms of the plants. In particular, the compound has been particularly effective in controlling the insects of the Trioza erytreae and Diapharoina citri, vector of the bacterium (Candidatus Liberibacter) that causes the Huanglongbing disease (HLB), considered the most destructive disease that currently affects crops citrus worldwide. Partners are being sought to exploit the existing know-how.

Formulations for improving agricultural production in drought conditions

CSIC has developed a series of formulations based on organic molecules that improve the tolerance of plants under severe conditions of drought and high salinity of the environment, main problem in agricultural production, resulting in large economic losses.  The origin of this problem lies mainly in the desertification of the environment due to climate change or irrigation with low quality water with high salt content.
