Graduated in Food Science and Technology from the Universitat Politècnica de València. During his undergraduate thesis, he took part in a research collaboration at the Institute of Food Engineering for Development (UPV).
Later, he completed a Master's degree in Food Safety and Quality at the University of La Laguna and was awarded a JAE INTRO fellowship at the Institute of Natural Products and Agrobiology (IPNA-CSIC), in the Agrobiotechnology group. This experience culminated in his Master's thesis, a preliminary study on the metabolomic and proteomic profile of organic grown fruits.
He is currently pursuing a PhD at IPNA-CSIC, further developing this line of research with a focus on the detection and analysis of pesticides in tropical fruits using mass spectrometry.
