Profile
Manuel Nogales is interested in the study of the evolutionary ecology trends of organisms on islands with special reference to those oceanic ones. Mutualistic systems and rare ecological interactions are particularly interesting to him. Due to his social compromise, Dr. Nogales collaborates with projects on conservation of insular organisms and their ecosystems.

Islands, ecology and evolution, trophic and ecological interactions, complex ecological networks, rare biological phenomena, conservation biology.
