Raúl Pérez Castañeda holds a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology (2021) from the University of La Laguna. He is currently completing a Master's degree in Cultural Diversity, Heritage and Development Management at the University of Seville. He is carrying out a research and training project in the "Volcán de Talento" programme in La Palma and has joined the IPNA-CSIC with a contract from the Investigo Programme to study the phenomenon of the guachinche in Tenerife within the "Guachinche Project".
