Luis Dastis Carbón holds a degree in Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and he’s currently a student in Master in Research Methodology in Social Sciences at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM).
His main interests have been the sociology of health and gender, applying both quantitative and qualitative techniques in various fields, also working with digital and audiovisual methods. Published research projects in which he has participated are “Conducta suicida y salud mental en la infancia y adolescencia en España (2012-2022), según su testimonio” with Fundación ANAR, “Desigualdades frente a la ansiedad y la depresión autopercibidas en los y las estudiantes de la UCM: manifestaciones y búsqueda de apoyo” and “PIPEU: PIPEU: Proyecto de Investigación sobre la Participación Estudiantil Universitaria” at UCM.
He’s going to carry out a research scholarship at IPNA in “Conexión Trigo” project.
