Second series of conferences Punto de Encuentro: Luis José López Abellán

The director of the Canary Islands Oceanographic Centre, Dr. Luis José López Abellán, will visit the Institute of Natural Products and Agrobiology this week with his talk "The conservation of biodiversity in the context of the management of deep-sea fisheries: Vulnerable Marine Ecosystems in the high seas".

This will be the third session in the 2nd series of conferences Punto de Encuentro. These are short conferences that aim to serve as a common space for experts in different areas to deal with various issues related to the field of research and generate an environment of intersection of knowledge and scientific collaboration.

The talks have an accessible format, with a presentation of about 20 minutes followed by a questions and answers session and are open to the public.
